Harrah's Joliet opens with Flying Elvi landing
Harrah's Joliet Casino Hotel began operations with a ribbon cutting led by Joliet officials and Harrah's executives. Flying Elvi skydivers landed near the hotel to greet guests as Tom O'Donnell and Joliet mayor Arthur Schultz cut the ribbon. The 204 room hotel features four expansive suites, multiple dining areas, meeting spaces, and direct indoor access to the riverboat casino.
