Festival of Lights highlights Vivekananda link to all faiths
Governors State University hosted a Festival of Lights themed on Swami Vivekananda linking all religions. A symposium on the 19th century monk featured a table of symbols from ten world faiths and performances by the Hindu Cultural Center in Park Forest. The event, five years running, promoted a spiritual bridge between East and West and praised service as worship.
