Drug sting nets 21 in Chicago Heights operation

Twenty one people from the South Suburbs and northern Indiana faced charges after a reverse drug sting in Chicago Heights. Undercover officers sold look alike crack cocaine and marijuana in Wentworth Avenue and Arnold Street. Participants ranged from teens to 38, with arrests for attempting to buy marijuana, buying cocaine, obstruction, and marijuana delivery. Some detainees had vehicles towed and faced a $500 admin fee plus towing costs. others were released on signature bonds.
