Deer Creek Reopens in University Park After Federal Case
After a lengthy lawsuit the Deer Creek School in University Park is reopening this fall as a renovated middle school now named New Crete-Monee Middle School. District 2010 sold bonds to fund the project, and reopening aims to heal rifts from a 1990 suit over racial integration and bus allocations.
