School District 159 approves calendar and changes
The Richton Park board adopted next year’s school calendar with a spring break shift to align with the high school district, adding a post Easter holiday. The first day of school is August 31 and the year ends June 14. Neil Armstrong school will introduce a fingerprinting program for pupils, and Jerry Hampton resigned from the board effective May 30.
