Rep Ostenburg’s Omnibus Recycling Act Introduced
Illinois Rep John Ostenburg D Park Forest unveils HB 2958 called the omnibus recycling act aiming to overhaul solid waste policy. The bill sets volume based garbage fees promotes recycled content use by state offices and bans solid waste incinerators for five years aiming to reduce landfill needs and encourage local recycling programs.
