Comerford, appointed in 1980, plans to educate voters on the referendum’s importance.
Six candidates vie for two six year terms and two two year terms on the Matteson public library board in the April 2 election. Kenneth Moss and William Burfeind seek full terms while Earl Rowe Tamara Fujinaka Thomas Spada and Robin Story contend for the shorter seats.
