Marian Band Extends Win Streak At Loyola Adjudication
Marian Catholic Symphonic Band remained undefeated since 1981 winning the Class AAA trophy at Loyola Academy in the State of the Art Catholic Band Adjudication. They also earned Best Woodwinds Best Bass Best Percussion and overall Grand Champion as parts of Marian’s entries.

Relay For Life teams form as area groups prepare for overnight event
Relay For Life invites area companies organizations and neighborhoods to form teams for the American Cancer Society 19hour overnight fundraiser at Homewood Flossmoor High School from 5 p m to noon. A Relay Rally at Glenwood Oaks March 16 will greet relayers as team packets become available. About 50 teams or 500 people are already preparing to support ACS research education and services with team members receiving shirts and prizes for fundraising success.
