Tragic death after hit by minivan in Ford Heights
Six year old Javonta Parker died from massive head injuries after being struck by a minivan while crossing Lincoln Highway near Lexington. Police said the driver was a 38 year old Chicago man traveling about 15 mph through a school zone. no charges expected. The child had missed the bus and was walking to school when the accident occurred.
