Thunder Mountain Rapids Opens Seasonal at Crestwood Park
The 635 foot long Thunder Mountain Rapids at 4700 Cal-Sag Road in Crestwood draws crowds on hot Saturdays. Joshua Young and Zachary from Steger praise the park as the season runs Memorial Day to Labor Day with $8 all day admission and 16 staff ensuring safety. It hosts birthday parties and corporate events with lifeguards patrolling the 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. schedule.
