Matteson May Change Day Care Rules and Planning Details

The Matteson Plan Commission approved two amendments to village zoning codes, one to require day care homes to register with the village if trustees approve changes, and another to eliminate certain special-use permit requirements for some food service establishments. The Village Board is expected to vote next month. Haldane notes about 12 to 60 day care homes are state licensed and not yet registered locally.
