Canal Days Parade Sparks Historic Town Spirit
The 27th Old Canal Days kickoff drew residents of Lockport and surrounding areas to State Street for a festive parade of wagons, antique cars, and trucks. Families enjoyed bands, dancing, and candy as the event highlighted the Tl ais and Michigan Canal’s role in local settlement, with exhibits, a carnival, beer garden, and a Journey Into the Past at Pioneer Settlement planned for the weekend.
