Shooting Suspect Arrested in Rich Township Shooting

A Matteson man, Dontanial Robinson, 18, was charged with aggravated battery with a firearm after a June 11 shooting in Rich Township. The victim, a 26-year-old Chicago Heights man, was shot once in the face in the 20400 block of Keeler Avenue and drove to Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Center. Robinson remained in Cook County Jail with a $100,000 bond as of Wednesday morning. investigators recovered the pistol and the incident followed a dispute in a 1991 Chevrolet Blazer.
