Police report multiple car windows smashed on Chicago Road
Police said a purse was taken from a car in the 3200 block of Chicago Road after its passenger window was broken on Saturday. A similar incident occurred in the 3300 block on Sunday. Ricardo Molina, 22, of 2709 Chicago Road, was charged with domestic battery after an alleged face strike during a Friday altercation.

Michael Simmons 18 Chicago charged with possessing a stolen vehicle after police traced the car to a reported theft. Simmons and a passenger detained. juvenile court for the passenger. Gregory Fager 40 Kankakee charged with disobeying a railroad signal after his car collided with a train engine at a crossing. Brian Johnson 21 Crete charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop. Stephen Saller 27 Crete charged with domestic battery. Items stolen include mowers, weed trimmer, leaf blower, a compact disc receiver, and tools from a van and a residence burglary reported. The front door had been pried open.

Flossmoor resident Philip Kelleher, 38, of Orland Park, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license, following too closely, and failing to signal. He is due in Markham Court July 20.
