Richton Park police report two arrests in one night for a 22 year old man from Iiety ae Labra on a DUI style charge and resisting a seat belt violation. He left the station after a July 25 court date and allegedly kicked a police dispatcher's car window, leading to a new charge of criminal damage to property after a five minute arrest. Police also note a separate incident where a man exposed himself to a passerby on Governors Highway. Juvenile charged after cocaine found on gambling call

Police probe vandalism at the Anita Stone Community Center and nearby park facilities, with potential links to a large party.

Neighbors wake man during house fire at Burr Oak address
Two neighbors woke a resident after spotting smoke and flames at 17306 Burr Oak around 10 30 p m Tuesday banging on his door. The man exited and told police he fell asleep while smoking a cigarette. Fire Chief reports extensive fire smoke and water damage. Paramedics took the victim to South Suburban Hospital for observation.
