Classic VI at Olympia Fields blends sports and tropical dining

St James hospital hosts the Classic VI on July 25 at Olympia Fields Country Club featuring golf tennis and swimming plus a chartered Lake Michigan fishing trip. Proceeds fund emergency services expansion with last year’s $150000 aiding part of a $12 million goal. RTA sues Grumman Flxible over 1978 bus sale

RTA filed suit in Chicago federal court against Grumman Flxible Corp of Delaware Ohio seeking 3.25 million dollars in actual damages plus punitive damages for breach of contract and misrepresentation over 205 Advanced Design Buses. The complaint claims buses were unfit and misrepresented, with structural cracks found during testing and in service leading to removal in December 1980. Damages include substitute bus rental and repair expenses.
