Diabetes Clinic opens at St James Hospital in Chicago Heights

The first certified Diabetes Clinic in the South Suburbs debuts at St James Hospital on February 2 in the Professional Office Building at 30 E 15th St Chicago Heights. A team including nurse dietitians and a podiatrist will aid diabetes management under endocrinologist Dr Arcot Dwarakanathan of Rush Presbyterian Hospital. The clinic operates Wednesdays 1 to 5 pm and earned American Diabetes Association recognition for meeting national standards.

Union files complaint over stalled clerks contract
