Pace fares rise for regular routes amid paratransit complaints
No protests at a Flossmoor hearing over Pace regular route fare increases from 1.10 to 1.15 and Joliet, Aurora, Elgin, and Waukegan feeder routes from 85 to 1.00 dollar. Paratransit riders face new 5 dollar trips outside ADA 3/4 mile limit, with 1.50 within it. Transfers to CTA to drop to 65–40 cents. monthly passes unchanged. Pace and RTA will study impacts and report by end of March.
