The Park Forest Recreation and Parks Department opens registration for tumbling and gymnastics for children from 3 years through eighth grade. Classes meet Thursdays at Forest Trail Junior High School. Call 708 748 2005 for more information.
Monday classes begin tonight at the Illinois Theatre Center Drama School with Adult, Advanced Adult, and Children’s Workshop time slots. A 10 week course costs $60 and information is available at (708) 481-3510. Also an eight week country dance class runs Mondays 7 to 9 p.m. at Forest Trail Junior High School.
Parks Department invites residents to speak at 7 p.m. about Matteson Elementary School District 162 Citizens' Redesign Committee recommendations during a public forum at Huth Middle School. Park Forest clubs host talks on insects and geology with expert presenters and library programs at Lakewood Boulevard venues.
A Park Forest program features a six week tai chi course on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. at Park Forest Village Hall with warm up and light no jump aerobics plus filming and cooling down. For details call 708 748 2005.

Matteson MLK program 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lincoln Mall. Blood drives also at Richton Park’s Immanuel Lutheran from 4 to 8 p.m. AARP meeting at Hope Lutheran 1 p.m. and other community notices include library programs and bingo.
