Grandparents volunteer to tutor Beacon Hill students
Park Forest volunteers include Bernice Connor and Georgette Friedman who donate time at Beacon Hill Primary Center. They assist in Kridner and Ruggles classes and with reading and math, praising the program and the students’ progress. Other grandparents assist in math assessments and support, motivated by community pride.
