Ronald C. Riley, a 11 year veteran and former assistant state's attorney, will assume the Markham court’s presiding role starting Jan 10. He plans to remain a working judge, seek staff input before changes, and get to know courthouse personnel before implementing ideas. Riley succeeds Patrick S. Grossi, who has served as acting presiding judge since last fall.
