Incinerator in Ford Heights near restart after permit permit
New Heights Recovery and Power LLC won EPA construction permit to restart the Ford Heights incinerator at U.S. 30 and Cottage Grove Avenue. The unit will burn natural gas first, then tire shreds within 180 days to prove standards before a regular operating permit.
