Repairs on Vollmer bridge begin
The Vollmer Road bridge over Interstate 57 in Matteson will undergo a six month rehabilitation and widening project costing 2.55 million dollars. IDOT says the work will raise shoulder width to 12 feet and reconstruct the bridge while maintaining only minor lane closures during off peak hours. Dunnet Bay Construction of Arlington Heights is the low bidder for the contract.

Matteson Allocates Surplus TIF Funds Across Bodies
