College parking tickets dispute on city plan
The college sought to issue its own parking tickets and have them prosecuted by city counsel. A full time meter maid has enforced parking rules since 1976, funded by the college, with sheriff patrols deemed unworkable. The city has not responded to the college's bid for direct ticketing, leaving the current contract in place while hopeful for a resolution.
