Artist draws Easter Seal lily wins national stamp spot
Patricia Moore, director of Tall Grass Arts Association School in Park Forest, created a lily painting selected for this year’s Easter Seals stamps. The piece, derived from three lily books, used acrylics, pencil and chalk and was completed in seven days. Moore also runs art classes and an “Art in Action” program teaching processes to inner city and home-schooled children. Her lily debuts publicly in January at the National Easter Seal Society headquarters in Chicago.
