Richton Park Board okays grant research and park expansion
Richton Park trustees approved two resolutions to seek Community Development Block Grant funds. One authorizes a study by a consulting firm to analyze Richton Hills Lioncrest town houses and village sections for strengthening needs, including commercial areas. The second seeks 48 000 to buy eight more acres beside Glaeser Park, enlarging the park to 23 acres. The board also enacted a park use ordinance and appointed Mrs Marge Gallagher to the park and recreation commission.
