Society removes horses from New Lenox farm
Hooved Animal Humane Society officers and Will County police seized nine horses and ponies from Harvey Faulkner’s New Lenox property for neglect disturbing food and medical care. Investigators found skeletal remains and Faulkner faces new charges after previous probation. The animals were taken to a veterinarian for care.

Rich Township votes to buy cars vans and lift equipped van
The Rich Township Board increased appropriations by 112000 to fund two sedans two vans and new computer equipment. They will replace aging PACE leased vehicles used to transport seniors and add a lift for disabled riders. Additional funds cover training and a part time driver.
