Matteson names new parks director Brian Ramsey chosen for Matteson post
Brian Ramsey age 40 will become parks and recreation director in Matteson by October 15. He currently manages the community pavilion at Oak Lawn Park District and replaces Jim Sharp who resigned in March 1999. Ramsey offered 48000 yearly with residency moving plans for a new home. He is a 15 year veteran in parks and recreation and a Southeast Missouri State graduate.

The Richton Park Village Board weighs creating a special service area to fund a Greenfield subdivision bike path. New Programs Roll Into Rich Township High Schools
First day back at Rich Township High School District 227 brings new activities and upgraded labs at Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields.
