A county fair for Oak Forest hospital patients will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. August 25 in the hospital courtyard at 15900 South Cicero Avenue. Activities include games dancing entertainment and a luncheon. Volunteers are sought with an orientation at 9:00 a.m. Telephone 687-7200 extension 1531 or 1532 to help.
Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights will host a six session I Quit Smoking clinic from September 19 to October 10. Sessions run 7 30 to 9 p m with a $25 incentive fee and registration by calling 361 4500 extension 5015. Jane Jegorski of the University of Illinois at Chicago leads the sessions as part of a University of Illinois research project.
