Pfiel to spend life in prison in two county plea

Steven Pfiel will plead guilty to first degree murder for killing his older brother in Will County. A natural life sentence will keep him from a death penalty and dismiss two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault. In Cook County, Pfiel will plead guilty to murdering 13 year old Hillary Norskog in Palos Township, with a 100 year term to be imposed and parole eligibility later.

Matteson police seek arrest warrants for two men from Richton Park and Park Forest over a July 22 brawl at Tubilou's 500 Towne Center that left a Chicago Heights man hospitalized two weeks and on a ventilator. Victim released August 5 from St. Francis Blue Island.
