Two Hazel Crest men charged in 1.3 million fraud scheme
Dennis Cesario and Arless Leito, both of Hazel Crest, were arrested on charges of defrauding the IRS and banks of more than 1.3 million dollars over four years. They allegedly ran Focus Financial, posed as IRS officials, and used client funds for personal use while guiding false tax returns and loan fraud. A U.S. attorney detailed bribes to an IRS employee and improvised schemes to settle back taxes.
