District to appeal Greens ruling over annex dispute

Spirit Airlines backs Peotone airport bid for Chicago region
Spirit Airlines executive vice president Mark Kahan urged Gov. Jim Edgar to support a new Chicago area airport at Peotone. He said Spirit would help fund construction via landing fees and would consider serving the south suburban facility “in a heartbeat.” The carrier, with 16 planes serving about 15 cities, projects over 200 million dollars in revenue next year and nearly 2.5 million passengers.

Park Forest mailman faces grand jury in molestation cases
Park Forest police report Leslie Tucker a 61 year old Crete resident on Gloucester Lane free on a $150000 bond after being charged with sexual abuse of a seven year old on his mail route.
