Summer Camp Counselors Create Lasting Bonds at Glaeser Park
Keller and 11 counselors run a six week summer program for about 60 youngsters up to age 11 at Glaeser Park. Activities include basketball dodgeball arts and crafts and a weekly field trip to see the Chicago White Sox. The counselors aim to be role models offering support and friendship to youths amid concerns about crime and parental divorce.
