Tinley Park convention center on schedule officials say

Tinley Park officials report the 60 000 square foot convention center and six story Holiday Inn hotel near 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue are on track to open in October and December respectively. The project is funded by a tax increment district with property tax freezes up to 23 years.
