Police report a vehicle stolen from the 1500 block of Halsted on April 3. A basement entry on Fifth Avenue near midnight April 7 led to a couch being set on fire and slashed driver’s side tires on a vehicle outside the home, police said.
Will County police reported Douglas J. Early 23 of Cedar Lake Indiana charged with speeding driving with an uninsured vehicle and suspended license after a Stateline Road stop. David R. Armitage 19 Crete charged with suspended license and uninsured vehicle after a Klemme Road stop. Raymond J. Barnat 48 Cedar Lake charged with speeding too fast for conditions and uninsured vehicle after an Exchange Street incident. Unrelated incidents include a rock damage on Pine Street and a home wall damage after eviction. A theft from a car on West 179th Street listed items stolen. Jason M. Clark 18 Park Forest faced multiple charges after a stop on Pulaski Road. Garry Terry 38 Chicago charged with disorderly conduct and marijuana possession after 911 call. Two teens reported assault and theft on Cypress Avenue. one teen injured treated and released.

Timothy Lockett charged after a traffic stop for obstruction and alcohol related offenses. Heather Kujaca charged with DUI after car left the road on State Street. Six guns and a watch stolen from a Tulip Drive home with no sign of forced entry.
Deborah Turner of Alsip 42 was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance after police stopped a limousine headed into Homewood on 191st Street around 12:30 a.m. six bags field tested positive for cocaine. Driver Ricky Borchardt 40 faces charges for driving with a revoked license and uninsured vehicle. A burglary on Walnut left a cell phone and radar detector stolen. A portable washroom at Woodborough Park suffered paper towel ignition causing about 100 dollars damage.
Police reported charges against Matteson Martin Buck for DUI and speeding Sunday. Andre Leverett faced an outstanding McLean County warrant. Berry Brown and Shannon Walkover were charged with retail theft. Eric Brown was arrested on a warrant for theft. Cody Rhyns and Pamela Jacobsen faced DUI related counts and traffic violations. Jacobsen stopped on Harlem Avenue.
Ricky Stevenson of 945 E 15th St was acquitted by an eight man, four woman Cook County Circuit Court jury after a 20 minute deliberation of charges including aggravated criminal sexual assault and home invasion. The defense argued the sex was consensual amid relationship disputes while the woman testified she was asleep with children present when the incident occurred.
