A Trip to Cape Charles Enjoyed by Mathews Party
On Tuesday a party from Mathews joined Capt. Armistead aboard a gasoline launch for a pleasant trip to Cape Charles. The jolly crew and singing kept the group lively across the bay as they toured Cape Charles and vicinity. Passengers included Mrs. Coley Borum and daughters Mrs. Kibler and daughter Miss Gertrude Kibler Miss Leone Coleman Prof. Kibler and Dr. A G Vaden. The four later visited Capeville and Northampton while others explored local sights before returning around five o clock to Mathews after a two hour sail.
