In Columbus he addresses about 30000 on the capitol steps in a four sided speech approach. He argues for free silver and attacks the gold standard while noting Sherman law repeal and bi metalist aims.
San Francisco reports China-backed Tonquin coal entering the U S market at prices far lower than Pennsylvania and Welsh rivals.
