Express Train Held Up Near Lincoln Nebraska
The Burlington westbound express four miles west of Lincoln was held up by three masked men. Two boarded the engine, the third cut the express car and pulled it down the track. They dynamited the safe, taking one package valued at fifteen hundred dollars and other valuables. A posse with bloodhounds is in pursuit. no passengers were harmed. Loss later reported over fifty thousand dollars. A reward of one thousand dollars is offered.
