A band of six Italian hunters fought with Cleveland area game wardens and deputies on Levi Rees’s farm near Girard. Wounded were Rees, Deputy Ward Coleman, and one hunter. Three Italians were captured. others pursued by bloodhounds and a posse. No fatal injuries reported.
