Aultman Massillon Opens Freestanding ER in Massillon
The city’s new freestanding emergency room at 2021 Wales Road NE opened at 7 a.m. with 12 beds and full staff led by Christine Donato. The first patient was admitted at 9:07 a.m. Friday as the region regains hospital services since Affinity Medical Center closed in February 2018. Six patients had been treated by 1:30 p.m. The ER reminder notes setting clocks back tonight.
