In Alliance Ohio Deputy State Fire Marshal Hart investigates two nocturnal fires. At Mrs J T Callahan front street seven plaster holes concealed tallow candles saturated with oil were found, family at aunt’s home. The insured goods amount to $700 and a Cleveland man owns the house. A second fire destroyed a stable and its contents including two horses. Origin remains a mystery.
