In Jackson Township Belden Village Chick-fil-A reopened May 8 after a seven week remodel costing about 800000. Franchise owner Doug Pugh notes the reinvestment fits Chick-fil-A policy and expects faster service with heated covered lanes. The upgrade moved handicapped spaces and reduced some parking while interior changes were completed.

For 26 years Jackie Godbey has observed dogs in cages. A dog jumping inside its cage is less likely to be adopted than one sitting as visitors pass by. The Stark County Humane Society now runs an enrichment program to modify cage behavior and boost adoption interest.

Ohio GOP faces vague guidance on new gerrymander map
