A ninety five acre tract between Massillon and Canton is being developed as a Catholic burial ground under diocesan trust. Five acres will serve as the initial burial area with a road graded from the highway, a receiving vault planned for summer, and a farm under charge of Peter Crone. The site will be expanded over time, with six burial permits already requested by Canton and Massillon residents.
