Canton coroner J H Openheimer announced verdicts on several cases. Albert Davis died of cardiac paralysis linked to shock, easing Dr Eberwein's exposure. Easter services filled churches from St Timothy's to St Mary's with bright flowers, white altar decor, and grand choirs. Collections for the new church building fund topped 951.26, including 600 from Judge Ricks for two lots, while congregations at St Pauls St Johns and others reported large turnouts and notable music throughout the day.

General Order No. 18 calls a public commemoration on April 6 1891 marking the 25th anniversary of the G A R. All members are urged to attend with invited Sons of Veterans Daughters Veterans Woman's Relief Corps and related groups plus clergy press school children and citizens. Judge A H Brown of New Philadelphia, long time Tuscarawas County probate judge, spent a week in the city and was found in a drunken condition Sunday in an alley near Ranegen street and locked up. He was discharged this morning for inability to pay fines. Kessler of Railroad street sought redress after a dispute with Antoni Claus over debris in Claus’s yard leading to a July assault charge and Claus posting bond for Wednesday.
Senator elect Palmer is gravely ill in Springfield with physicians alarmed. It is feared he may not recover. A Republican club meeting is scheduled for tonight.
