A fifteenth anniversary reminiscence recalls the Good Friday 1876 Warmington mine riot near Tuscarawas Valley. Coal workers attacked mine owners and managers after a large mob from North Lawrence, led by agitators, attacked Keller and Warmington. The violence prompted militia deployment. Moran, Moran shot Keller and was jailed, later pardoned.
