Coxey pursued the suspect from quarries at Paul’s. the man claimed it was on another’s order. The Senator faces petty losses and uses this method to curb them. YouthBurglary Figures in Tuscarawas Train Station Theft
Deputy W G Frew of New Philadelphia responded to Agent Sladden's telegraph and captured 12 year old William Shanks and Alonzo Steiner for burglary at the Tuscarawas station. They walked six miles from New Philadelphia, broke a window, stole seventeen tickets with twelve recovered, and took jewelry from the express office. An accomplice is suspected. The boys may be sent to reform school.

Geo W Moss was hanged in Wilkes Barre on March 26 for killing his wife after long discord. His son Frank witnessed the crime and testified. Moss attempted suicide at the scene.

A Tamarack mine shaft explosion in Calumet Michigan March 26 killed two miners who were so badly mangled they cannot be identified. The blast occurred in the Tamarack shaft with rescue efforts ongoing and authorities investigating the cause.
