James Smith, 67, died at his home four miles south of Massillon at 6 15 AM Saturday from a concussion after being thrown from a buggy when his horse took fright near the Pennsylvania railroad bridge on South Erie street Thursday afternoon. His wife, who was with him, is ill. The accident also left Mrs Smith injured.
