Narrow Escape From Drowning On Hunt Road
Miss Myrtle Zimmerman and Elmer Shetler of North Lawrence were rescued from the Tuscarawas river when high water on Hunt road near Cherry street caused a frightened horse to break a rein and plunge the buggy into the river. Local residents and police aided, drying the couple and returning them home, a miraculous escape with both largely unharmed.

City to stage July 4 fireworks display in park
