Young farmer expands as rains overwhelm Stark County farm

Ben Klick, a fifth generation farmer, bought a 120 acre Windy Way Farm in Perry Township. Since January Akron Canton area rainfall exceeded norms by 6 inches, with Stark County totals over 24 inches by early June, leaving fields soggy and delaying planting. Klick calls the spring the most stressful season he has faced. Dorothy Pelanda remarks on new territory.
