Young farmer expands as rains overwhelm Stark County farm
Ben Klick, a fifth generation farmer, bought a 120 acre Windy Way Farm in Perry Township. Since January Akron Canton area rainfall exceeded norms by 6 inches, with Stark County totals over 24 inches by early June, leaving fields soggy and delaying planting.
