Food production strong locally in Northeast Ohio gains
The Great Recession hit Northeast Ohio manufacturing, but food manufacturing added 5,000 jobs between 2007 and 2018, growing 29 percent while national growth stood at 12. Navarre safety forces move to new headquarters
Navarre village safety services outgrew old space in Village Hall basement and moved police to a new, former bank building at 555 N Main St purchased for 190,500 dollars. The Fire Department will occupy its new space this summer as plans advance. Police Chief Dennis Albaugh said the upgrade eliminates cramped conditions and provides needed space for records and operations.

Trump hints at resuming tariffs if Mexico fails to cooperate

Van collision in Columbiana County leaves two children alive
In April 2012 Emily Ludwig’s sister drove a northbound van on State Route 7 with two children and a dog when a head on crash occurred as a driver crossed the center line. The children survived while Amanda Bibbee and the dog died.
